KRONOR whitepaper

KRONOR (KRON) is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum with a fixed supply of 100,000,000. GPU rental fees are paid in USD, EUR, ETH, or BTC. Five percent of those fees buys KRON, which is then sent to a retirement address. The contract has no mint, burn, or admin functions. This paper does not set a price.

GPU rental

Kronor Rent is the GPU rental service at https://kronor.ai. It uses the same crown as KRONOR. A renter pays the fee in one of four assets: USD, EUR, ETH, or BTC. The price for an hour or a job, and the rental terms, are set by Kronor Rent. They are not stored in the token contract. Name and logo rules are in the brand book.

The full supply was issued at deployment. The contract cannot mint, cannot burn, and has no owner who can pause transfers. A retirement transfer does not reduce totalSupply. It moves KRON to an address that has no known key.

Revenue rule

Each week, 5% of the GPU rental fees received that week is used to buy KRON. The other 95% pays electricity, hardware, and operations.

Retired KRON stays inside the 100,000,000 supply and cannot be spent. The amount still transferable is 100,000,000 minus the balance of the retirement address.

A holder does not receive a dividend and has no claim function in the token contract. The holder’s position is a share of the fixed supply. Each retirement transfer leaves that share pointed at a smaller transferable amount, funded by 5% of GPU rental fees. The price is set by buyers and sellers on the public market.
